Ever wonder why Robin Hood was created as a red fox? It’s a little random when you really think about it, but there is a good reason for it. Walt Disney had the idea to produce a movie based on the French folk tale ‘Reynard the Red Fox‘. The idea didn’t fly, but the artwork of Reynard was adapted to create the character Robin Hood.
