Disney Fact #104

Today, I’m focusing on Miss Piggy, a Diva in her own right that I commonly look over. She is strong, outspoken, and b-e-a-utiful, only at times she might seem spoiled, certainly not Disney Diva material.

But as I have been learning more about her, I’ve realized that her explosive personality isn’t bratty. No, no, there’s more to Miss Piggy than meets the eye. And that is why she should be welcomed among the other great Disney Divas!miss piggy

As revealed to by Frank Oz, creator of The Muppets, to The New York Times in 1979, Miss Piggy had a rough childhood.

“She grew up in a small town in Iowa; her father died when she was young, and her mother wasn’t that nice to her. She had to enter beauty contests to survive, as many single women do. She has a lot of vulnerability which she has to hide, because of her need to be a superstar.” – Frank Oz.

Awww 😦
