New Design of “The Jungle Book” Character Plush! So cute!

Seriously, Disney? Is there some conspiracy out there that’s goal is to turn me into a stuffed-animal hoarder? I already have a super large Stitch plus, a Baymax, a seagull from Nemo, 60th Anniversary Minnie, and all of the classic Winnie the Pooh characters… and now this!

Well I can’t stay angry, especially when it comes to Disney. Perhaps if I share the newest items on my blog, it will satisfy my desire to order all of them right this second.

Check out these awesome Jungle Book stuffed animals!

You probably recognize the villainous Shere Khan, who looks more cuddly than cutthroat. And King Louie, in all his fiery glory (check out that hair!). Then Kaa, who will be voiced by the sleek Scarlett Johansson in the upcoming movie, looks shimmery. Gotta love that tongue, you can almost hear him/her hisssss!

Enough of the bad guys, how about the cutie good guys. Junior, Bagheera, and Gray! I love Gray’s eyes and think Bagheera is stunningly mysterious. Junior’s big ears remind me to my Stitch plushie!

And last, but certainly not least, is my favorite one of all. I have a great deal of memories with Baloo from my childhood. The Jungle Book was always one of my go-to movies as a kid, and Baloo made me laugh nonstop. I’ve always had a soft spot for him. And look at how he was recreated. Just beautiful!

I love the coloring on him, the big paws and sweet face. He is the epitome of “Teddy Bear”! So… naturally… I… had to……. buy him………….

Heh.

Okay, moving on. Anyone care to tell me who this fellow is? I’m assuming he will be part of the rendition coming out in just under two months (yes, April 15th is the date!)!!!

To celebrate, I give you… Mr. Pangolin!

NEW Giclée on Canvas Paintings are Astonishingly Gorgeous!

Recently I developed a love for the late artist Thomas Kinkade, an admiration reinforced after my visit to the beautiful gallery, Thomas Kinkade at Old Town in Temecula, California. Afterwards, I did what any good Disney Diva would do, and purchased half-a-dozen Kinkade Disney prints online. I have them now, rolled up in a closet, because what the heck am I going to do with all of those prints?!

Yes, the obvious thing to do would be hang them on the wall. But this girl has real hesitation with hanging things on walls. Why? Who knows. Doesn’t matter.

I knew before I went on a crazy shopping spree, and thanks to these new releases of Giclee artwork at the Disney Store, I’m afraid I will betray myself again! Luckily, these works of art are more pricey than the prints I was able to order.

I literally can’t get enough of looking at these! Maybe I’ll have to open up my OWN gallery. These paintings are incredible!

While I can’t say that I have a favorite, because that would be extremely difficult, I will say that the painting which made my jaw drop initially and has got me thinking of a potential placement – somewhere! – in my tiny house, is the Lilo and Stitch painting. How preciously surreal is that?

You can check out the rest the paintings by visiting the Disney Store online. They are currently under the “New Arrivals” page, or search for “Giclee on Canvas” and you’ll find them.

Now, I’m off to scour for loose change in the couch for completely unrelated reasons…

NEW Indigo Home Décor Collection!

This is ideal for the lover of blues, whites, and yellows! One of my best friends mother redecorated her kitchen with bold blue accents alongside white cabinets and it was stunning. This collection made me think of her. Although, I’m not sure if she would want Mickey Mouse silhouette’s on everything!

But this is a Disney blog, so decorated a kitchen with Mickey accents is totally acceptable! 😉

Check out the new collection, and see some of my favorite pieces below:

Dumbo the Flying Elephant Limited Release Items!

dumbo flyingTo celebrate the 60th Anniversary of Disneyland, we need to pay homage to one of its original and ever-so-popular attractions: Dumbo the Flying Elephant.

This ride has become a staple at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World. To recognize this, the Disney Store has released a limited release collection of t-shirts and a poster, both boasting the flying elephant himself in a vintage style design.

The items are only available until tomorrow, so if you’re interested, I would highly suggest visiting the online store today and making your order.

The adult t-shirts are $27.95, kid size is $22.95.

There is also a poster for $32.00, and if you’re feeling really magical and love the cutie, you might want to splurge on the Giclée on canvas, which costs a cool $120.00!

Fairytale Designer Collection

I have to say, I was disappointed at the lack of The Princess and the Frog representation while on my trip to WDW. While at the largest Disney store in the world in Downtown Disney (World of Disney store), I was bombarded with floor to ceiling offerings of Frozen memorabilia. Don’t get me wrong, I am in love with that movie, but my girl Tiana is seriously under represented. I figured at the largest Disney store in the world, they would have been able to dedicate a shelf or two to her. *sigh*

Anyways, my disappointment has been mildly averted, thanks to the new “Fairytale Designer Collection” on Disney.com.

This collection highlights the following movies: The Princess and the Frog, Mulan, Pocahontas, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella.

It’s a rather small collection, but it’s a start! And check out the beautiful Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen doll!

While I’m less of a doll collector and am more likely to buy one of the mugs (or shirts, but I’m slowly getting away from that, too, with the help of my tiny closet), I have to say that I was tempted to start a doll collection. But I think for now, I’ll just be happy to know that this exists out there, somewhere!

Now go watch the movie and tell me that Tiana isn’t one of the coolest Disney Princesses to date! 😀

Like I Needed Something Else to Obsess Over… Tsum Tsum!

tsumtsum

The newest collectible items to the Disney Store are the unbelievably adorable – and stackable –  plushie Tsum Tsum’s. They come in a variety of sizes, from fit-in-your-hand tiny to cozy-cuddly-pillow sizes!

All of the classic Disney characters are available as Tsum Tsum’s, along with random characters like Stitch, the Bambi friends, and Marie from the Aristocats.

My favorite has to be Dale, though. His cute red nose and little buck teeth are hilarious!dale

I don’t know what that means, or how exactly to pronounce it, but nevertheless these Tsum Tsum’s are definitely going to be the next big thing. I’m reorganizing my room in my head and trying to find a good place for a few of these myself! For more information, visit the Disney store or click here to be directed to the official page.
